About
Amit Mishra
A versatile Music Director and a Multi - Instrumentalist with a strong affinity for classical styles of music. A soulful Singer, the varied modulations and power in his voice has been earned through a lifetime of association with the Performing Arts.
Apart from his musical work, has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, and in fact graduated as a Gold Medalist from Delhi College of Arts.
Though professionally having started with a career in the field of Painting,
he ever fueled his passion for Music and went ahead to get trained in Hindustani Classical vocals and further an introduction to
Western Classical style of guitar.

BOM(BAY) VOYAGE
He started off with the band ‘Ind Tranzit ’ followed by acts ‘Som’, and ‘Maati’, and performed at multiple Live Shows.
His first Movie break came on the way to working on the TV series “Laptaganj”, then aired on SAB TV. Ashwini Dhir, along with directing the TV series was parallely working on the movie “Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge?” and that’s when the offer came in. It started with composing the Title Track and later composing, writing and singing four songs for the movie, a big hit when released in back in 2010.
The journey continued with the Movie ' Machchli Jal Ki Rani hai” ,
' Guest in London 'and numerous Television Series.

Cut to cultivating a calmer life in the Mountains of Uttarakhand,
he released a Single with his fellow musicians, under the name of
'Ija Ira Collective'. Inspired by life's journey and the place of our dream home, it was named "Marchula".......
